Nutrition is very important to all ages of individuals but starting earlier than later will ensure they will learn the necessary skills and information they will need to live a long, healthy life. Allowing them to construct a weekly blog of their meals, exercise, and sleep will inturn show them how they need to possibly change their regular schedules into a healthier lifestyle.

EricaKay is very right about children starting at an early age. If they learn the right nutrition at a young age it will be easier to continue througout their lifetime. Exercising and/or getting involved in sports can also be a good start for children in their start to a healthy life. I think it is a great idea to have the fourth graders keep a log about what they eat each day for a week. I did this when I was in a nutrition class and I believe it really helps you understand how nutrition and exercising is very crucial to your everyday lifestyle especially in the future!
